Hi! I’m Samantha and I am passionate about Macrame. This ancient art of knot-making enables me to express myself in many ways. From functional items like plant hangers, hat holders, bags and fashion accessories to statement wall-hangings that are major interior focal points, I love making and designing them all.

All of my pieces are one-off, original designs made with the highest-quality cotton, wool, linen, and silk.

I work from my home studio in Samford Valley, Queensland and I am also actively involved in the local arts community. Find me at The Slab Hut, where I and 60 other artists sell our work. During April 2025 I was the Featured Artist which involved a prominent display and local media coverage.  In 2024, I was the group’s Display Co-ordinator, responsible for displaying the huge variety of beautiful art and craft to their best advantage.

At Good Egg Gallery, another local landmark, you can view and purchase my large statement wall hangings.  In June 2025, for the second year running, I will exhibit at the Good Egg as a featured artist of the Samford and Surrounds Arts Trails, an annual fixture in the regional arts calendar.
